Not too long ago, I decided to start a business with Vuka Pies because I wanted a new start in a different environment, doing something I like and have faith in. I buy pies from Vuka Pies and sell to people around me, those that I know will be interested in selling.

My everyday routine is to go around meet and talk to new people, tell them about Vuka Pies and convince them to join me in this exciting business.

The journey has been difficult and challenging, and I sometimes doubt myself, but I always look back to the main reason I started this. Knowing that nothing in life comes for free, I make the decision to work harder tomorrow to achieve the goal I’m aiming for.

Becoming an entrepreneur through Vuka Pies has helped me gain back my confidence and it has given me the hope that I will finally be my own boss, have my own business and work hard for my kids future.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone eating Vuka Pies, talking about how this initiative has helped thousands of people gain an income and how it’s become one of the biggest brands in Africa. “Vuka Uzenzele, helping people to look forward to another day so they can do it for themselves.”

What motivates me each day is where I am going with this business, and how it will brighten my children’s future. I know it is not going to be easy but I am ready to tell thousands of people about it.
